If you’ve admired the beauty of Oiran fashion but worry that your height might make the costume unsuitable, please don’t worry.

In this article, we’ll explain how our studio accommodates taller guests—featuring a real example from one of our staff members.

Is There a Height Limit for the Oiran Experience? Not at All—We Have Kimono Options for You

“I’m quite tall. Will I be able to wear an Oiran kimono?”

“Will the outfit suit my body shape?”

At Studio Yairo, we tailor the kimono and styling to each guest’s body type.

Even taller guests can enjoy the full Oiran transformation beautifully and comfortably.

Our 180cm-Tall Studio Owner Tried on the Kimono for You

To help illustrate how we support various heights, our studio owner (180cm tall) volunteered to try on one of our Oiran costumes.

Kimono are traditionally adjustable garments—the hem and obi can be styled to accommodate different body shapes.

For this demonstration, we selected a longer kimono to ensure it would comfortably fit a taller frame.

The kimono used in this example is designed with generous proportions,

and can be worn by individuals ranging from approximately 150cm to over 180cm in height.

As you can see from the photos, the fit is elegant and natural, with no compromise on appearance.

Our studio owner has a chest circumference of approximately 90cm, yet the kimono fits beautifully thanks to careful adjustment of the obi belt.

The overall silhouette is graceful and well-balanced.
